Artful Weddings 3

Lisa and Andrew

Stepping back into the world of weddings again, what makes a wedding special to me and I believe to most guests, are those personal touches. Being not afraid to be yourselves, marked by a special place, symbols, words and items that are uniquely you as a couple.

Lisa and Andrew chose quite a secluded and magical spot that held great personal significance to them. This is why the images I made of them, (particularly the first one) so strongly feature the surrounding trees and water.

And now for a very different wedding from the last one. This wedding of Anita and George was more of an inner city wedding, not far from their home. It was all in the one setting in a beautiful old house in Northcote, Melbourne.

Artful Weddings

When a bride comes to me for photography and says “I want something different”, how different do they really mean?…. Something like the images here, perhaps?

Traditionally photographers offer prints, albums or cds of digital files. Some couples find a large print of themselves displayed in their lounge room a little too much.

But what about a piece of artwork, something that brings more elements of the day and is a little more abstracted?

This is what I now offer!

Please tell me what you think. If you like the images, let me know which is your favorite.
